We picked this restaurant based on the great rev... read more I took my family to Flying Monkey to celebrate my mum's birthday, but sadly, it was a disappointing experience. We picked this restaurant based on the great reviews about their cocktails and mocktails, only to find out upon arrival that there were none available because the bartender didn’t show up. They didn’t even have any juices on the menu! The waitstaff were unhelpful and lacked service skills; they couldn't suggest dishes for our large group, messed up our orders, and we ended up with way too much food since we couldn't cancel any items. Despite our multiple requests, they refused to adjust the air conditioning, leaving us all sweating heavily. On a brighter note, the food was excellent, so I can’t fault that. However, the service was extremely disappointing. Flying Monkey definitely needs to focus on improving that aspect. The service was equally impressive, matching that score. However, the atmosphere was just okay and could benefit from more ambiance, which is why I rated it a 3. Considering the price range of $10–20 per person, it's a great value for a satisfying meal.
