I have two favorite dishes at this coffee shop: the Royal and the Tzi-Chargan. While the other options on the menu may also be very good, I always stick to these two whenever I visit. The rojak yiu tiau is especially delicious, with a crispy texture from being roasted in the air frit. Worst mee hoon kuey (dried), it was serve with the kuey cool(at least not warm), machined roll, hard to bite, with flour taste probably due to undercooked.

I experienced gastrointestinal issues after consuming the Beef Horfun, Iron Plate Tofu from the well-known 881 zichar store. The prices have increased over the last two years while the portion sizes have decreased and the quality has worsened. The vegetables were not prepared properly, with hard stems and inedible parts left in. The fried rice was also disappointing. I will be avoiding this zichar store in the future and sticking to the Tim Sum store, where the boss personally prepares the ingredients to ensure the best quality.

I was disappointed to miss out on the Tzi-Chargan during my last visit, but my previous experience was so good that I made sure to come back to this coffee shop.
I would give the coffee shop 4 stars overall, but I would give the mini rojak stall alone 5 stars. The rojak at this stall is probably one of the best in Singapore, yet it is severely underrated. Even though there is a 20-minute wait to be served, the portions are larger than usual and include air-fried you char kway pieces and a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as raw mango strips. I would also recommend trying the San Lou hor fun from the zi char stall and the sliced fish xo soup from this coffee shop.
This place was recently renovated. business is still good. love the xo fish head suppe here! yumzzz.
