The Mediterranean food here is excellent, and the outdoor seating is a nice touch. Food preparation is impressively fast; our dishes arrived just 7 minutes after we ordered. The beef shank was incredibly tender—so tender that you could easily bite through it with a fork or skewer. Additionally, if you're interested, diners might get the chance to see the chef in action; we were fortunate enough to have that experienc... View all feedback.
What John Doe doesn't like about Artichoke Café:
It wasn't quite as memorable as I recalled. Most of the dishes didn't leave a lasting impression. The Turkish bread ($4.50) was excellent, though it had... 4 stars. View all feedback.
Ordered the tasting menu and all the ingredients used were super fresh, overall the dishes were also really tasty! Both my partner and I were really impressed by the texture of the chicken breast (so soft! . We both also loved the meze which paired super well with the bread! 2 complaints however the mushroom dish was a bit lacklustre in terms of flavour and the chicken breast/swordfish/grilled cuttlefish were all piled into one dish which I found quite odd (maybe they were running out of dishes? haha
This change my view on mid eastern food. everything from food to service were great. the tasting menu was worth it. would come back again for the bread and hummus.
We went with the Chef’s Tasting Menu. The portion is sizable so do come hungry. Overall the food is good (hummus, eggplant, kebab etc). Cocktails and dessert could use some improvements.
A bit pricey but the food quality is good. They have a good selection of organic wines as well. Tried the tasting platter that comes at 68 per person. Not sure if they can adjust based on the number of pax but we had 4 pax that day and we were really full from the food (appetizer, main and dessert). Nice friendly service from the waiters. Love the outdoor seating area.
Cozy middle eastern style restaurant, the food was great in a “just about right” proportions, my favorite was the lamb and also the soft special drink was worth it to have one. Overall experience was great, make sure you book a table before showing up.
