Wow. $20 for a small boneless chicken breast, two sides, and tea? Next time, I’ll just go to Waffle House. That was a big mistake.
The two gentlemen at the door to get a table set up for 9 people so quick. Emily our waitress was wonderful and I had the cuban sandwich which was on point. Love it.
Everything was good from service to food. We had fish and chips with slaw, 2 hamburgers 1 w/fries 1 w/tots and three drinks. Our total before tip was $62.

The food here is really great, we stopped here after the church on a whim and we were very pleasantly surprised by some really great dishes. Our waiter was a really nice but funny older gentleman and it is in a really great and fast growing area. Very recommend to give it an attempt. The Burgerpatties were huge and perfectly cooked to what we had asked. The reubs were great, French onion soup was fantastic. It's really great!
We had the fish and chips. All right. Love her fries. We'll be back. A small jewel in the corner of a strip of shopping mall over the street of Simpsonville Town Hall.
Our food was very good! The service was also good, however under staffed slowing things down quite a bit. The atmosphere, very loud with their industrial ceiling and wood booths. Definitely popular, with customers waiting outside to be seated. A family friendly restaurant with a kid's section on the menu.
A friend visited and told me about this place and it didn't disappoint. I arrived around 1pm on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the white wings which are jalapeno, jack cheese stuffed bacon wrapped boneless wings with fries. The server looked at me like I'll serve them to you, but you know you're gonna die. The food was delicious and the chicken was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The fries are crispy which I really like. I don't think my server ever let my glass get lower than half full and checked on me several times. I'll definitely return again. The only critical point is that it seems a bit dated inside.
Wow! I have to tell you how much my family and I love this restaurant. As a fan of the original Traveler Rest, I had high expectations, and I wasn’t let down. Some of my favorites included the pork belly, shrimp and grits, all the burgers, and the prime rib. My wife is usually very particular about steaks, but they definitely exceeded her expectations. While the prices are a bit higher, they are fair considering the quality of the food. We’ll definitely be coming back often!

We had the fish and chips. So good. Love their fries. We will be back. A little gem tucked in the corner of a strip mall across the street from Simpsonville city hall.
Our server Lee was very attentive and an excellent server. I had the boneless chicken wings with half jalapeno-mango barbeque and half garlic ranch. And a side of french fries. Loved the fries and the jalapeno-mango wings. The garlic ranch... Not somuch. My husband had the southern cordon bleu with roasted new potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes had a sweet tangy flavorwith the garlic and onion accents, the asparagus was not soggy but well cooked maintaining that fresh snap to it and slightlygarliced. The cordon bleu was the best my husband has ever had. The chicken and ham was tender and perfectly cooked while stillmaintaining a perfect crunch on the outside. I believe I detected a bit of oyster in the sauce on the cordon bleu which Ipersonally did not care for. There is a great beer, cocktail, and wine selection if you are into that kind of thing and happyhour available even on Friday. Always a good experience!
We had a great experience here at Short fields in Simpsonville. The staff was super helpful and nice. Chelsea did a great job serving our party of 16. The food was excellent. Everyone 's reaction to the food was delicious . The prices seem to be on parwith the going rates.
