O'Charley's - Simpsonville

Solid 3. Going in, you can see they've updated the exterior, not true with the interior. Waiting area is dirty, cobwebs and dust everywhere. Eating area is cleaner, but dimly lit, presumably to keep me from seeing it is dirty. Ok, wait wasn't terrible for a Saturday night. Plenty of people coming through. Service was good, but I could see our poor waitress was overwhelmed. Apparently they were short handed that night. The food- I had the steak- rib combo, my wife the steak- tender combo. I ordered my steak medium, that puppy was still mooing on my plate. I mean, raw. My wife's was fine. They fixed it quickly, and, oh, the smashed potatoes with bacon- mashed potatoes with bacon pieces sprinkled on top. Yeah, I was disappointed too. Everything else was good.

The service was great. The food was... mediocre. This is not unusual for O'Charley's. I've been to this location once. Other locations (Greenville) multiple times, hoping that the next time would be better, and... it wasn't. Save your money, and go elsewhere.

Garlic Shrimp Pasta. Box was place uneven in bag causing a leakage. Was not provided with a fork and knife. Quality, taste, presentation was Unsatisfactory Seemed to just be thrown together. Lacked the parmesan and toasted bread crumbs. Sauce did not have much taste. Did not look like what was presented in the menu. Not worth $13.99.

I've gotten delivery via UberEATS twice. The first time the mashed potatoes gravy tasted like someone has dumped an entire table bottle of black pepper in. This time, the $60 Tenders and Ribs Platter. Supposed to be 3 racks and 24 tenders. TWELVE Tenders. HALF. Unreal. This is how a company's reputation goes down the drain

Went with the kids today after having not gone for a while. My son really likes their potato soup. We had heard that last time someone we knew was in there they have fries in the potato soup and it was good. Surely that was a fluke right? Nope. The potato soup came out as more of a cheese soup with French fries in it. No joke. Get the cheese wedges as an appetizer and they were not hot. The rest of the meal was average but man my son was real disappointed with that soup.
