My husband and I ordered a big paprika, mushrooms and olive pizzeria it was one of the best pizzas we ate next time, we will try one of the pasta dishes. We also had an antipasto salad that was very fresh and it was ok better. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Palermo Pizzeria:
Palermo has been on the hill since the new property. Use your pizza to be the best in town and now it's way to fat the dough is not the same and the sausage looks and tastes fake. Unfortunately, we will no longer go there, we have given them several attempts, but it is getting worse. View all feedback.
Palermo used to be our go-to pizza spot since their move to the new location, but unfortunately, it has declined. The pizza, which was once the best in town, is now overly greasy, and the dough doesn’t taste the same. Additionally, the sausage seems artificial in both appearance and flavor. Sadly, we won't be returning; we've tried giving it multiple chances, but things just keep getting worse.
My husband and I ordered a large pizza with paprika, mushrooms, and olives, and it was one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. Next time, we plan to try one of the pasta dishes. We also had an antipasto salad that was very fresh and enjoyable, but it could have been a bit better.
I've lived in Simi Valley for 20 years, and I have to say that the new owners of this restaurant really missed the mark. The pizza was heavily dusted with way too much flour, resulting in a slice that was almost coated with a tablespoon of flour. It was overloaded with cheese and lacked that crispy bottom we all love because of it. The wings were a soggy disaster—not good quality at all. The cappellini was cooked well, but the sauce was quite bland; we ended up having to add our own Italian spices to improve it. I can't believe this meal cost $86! Restaurants like Amici's Pizza, Papa John's, and East Coast Pizza put this place to shame. Save your money and choose somewhere else. I dined here on September 13, 2022, in Simi Valley.
I was very disappointed! I've been here for 20 years. I ordered the fried ravioli and it was terrible. I couldn't even cut the pieces. I came home and I'm sick now. I haven't received much attention since I was a single dinner. Not what I lived in other places. I miss the last owner. Then everything was good. I tried at least 3 times with new owner and either cold food (painted) or just not up to the price. I decided after trying three times with new owner, this is not the place I remember really enjoyed! Don't go back!
We loved this place. From Ojai CA. Had some business in the area. Lots of food. Great salads and service was outstanding. I will drive from Ojai when I want good Italian food.
