Porkies - Silvis
Porkies
Description
A beloved downtown diner known for its pork tenderloins, hearty breakfasts and nostalgic charm — friendly counter staff and low prices keep locals and concert crowds coming. Enthusiasts praise pancakes, biscuits-and-gravy and seasoned fries, while others report inconsistent barbecue, soggy or poorly packed fries, rubbery sandwiches and occasional off slaw or milkshake. The atmosphere is casual and busy; ideal for budget breakfasts and quick meals, but expect variable takeout quality.

Delicious chili, amazing tenderloins, and burgers that are out of this world. I also really enjoy the breakfast!
I'm impressed by the consistency of this restaurant. The food is always hot and delicious, and the service is friendly.
We've visited this restaurant a few times when we were in the area, and it was just mediocre. The tenderloin was decent, but the pulled pork wasn't worth the visit. The fries were leftover bits from the bottom of the bag on both occasions, and the coleslaw tasted spoiled during our last visit. There are too many other dining options to waste any more money here.

Nostalgic, local place for tenderloins. They have multiple sizes of sandwiches. They also have burgers and hot dogs. It’s very quaint. It’s also pretty cheap. I love to bring my kids out to eat here.
