Abruzzo Marina - SILVI

It was okay. For us its not a 4 stars hotel. Especially not the food. We were in a lot of hotels so far. But the level is not high. You can eat everything and everything was really okay, but not more. Dishes are repeating , some of them even everyday. And we just spent 1 week at the hotel. We were just dissapointed of the italian food. And we loooooooooove italian food. Also we had a feeling that some of the employees were stressed to have people as guests who dont speak italian. I am not used to this feeling in italy, i dont expect people to speak german or english. But normally, especially in italy i have a feeling of being welcome, people who care and then you speak with hands everybody laughs and you have a good time. I didnt have this this time, sometimes i even felt not welcommed at all. But some of the employees were really nice as well. One waiter was extremly nice to us and fun to have around (unfortunatly he just had our table for 2 days).the waitress we had Was very friendly and nice. Others just ignored us(at breakfast) or were grumpy. Normally i would give 2 stars. Because i rate a 4 star hotel and not a 2 star or 3 star hotel. For that standard i could not give more. I just give 3 because the beach is fantastic, kids loved it and because all in all we had a great time. Would i come back? I dont think so.

We were part of a big group of family and friends and everyone in the group agrees that the hotel is fab, the staff attentive and polite (and they speak English, French, German... Our rooms were great, everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the food was good. Excellent value all round! Thank you, we'll be back!

I was there during a business trip. Room was clean and breakfast was nice. The only down side was the music on every floor outside the rooms played by hotel speakers on the ceiling

Very nice hotel, definitely 4STARS! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We went in the off-season, in the month of January, when it was cold and rainy, but very relaxing to walk on the beach and admire the sunset, sunrise, and horizon. The rooms are spacious enough and the bathrooms were very modern and offered good hot water and shower. The breakfast was good for a stay of 2 nights- after 3 days you would need more variety/choices. I love that they had juices and plenty of fruits to offer. The Wi-Fi was not very strong and sometimes did not work. There is a very nice local restaurant 1-2 minute walk away from resort on the right when you exit and a little bar/café directly in front of the resort. Parking was convenient. We had a very good time on a 3 day family get-away here and would recommend if you want a quiet, peaceful stay in the off-season. I do not know what it would be like in the Summer months.
