In the summer months when everything gets moved outside, the cold beers go down nicely! Johan and Sophia are excellent hosts and make you feel very welcome. It’s on our visit list every time we’re in Portugal!

If you like some great music and very enjoyable food you could not go wrong spen... read more Spent an entertaining Sunday afternoon there with some very talented musicians. If you like some great music and very enjoyable food you could not go wrong spending a Sunday afternoon here. It is off the beaten track so you would need a taxi or hotel transfer or a designated driver. Our hotel provided a return transfer for 4 for €60 so it is not much more than 20 or 30 miles from Albuferia. There is a train station opposite but I don't know anything about the train schedule
