Atendimento super, super simpatico. Quem vem a Silves tem que passar por aqui

Hub and i have visited Casa Velha regularly for several years, as we used to live in Silves. Pleasant atmosphere, Staff friendly and accommodating Seating inside and outside, we usually sit outside if possible, small car park at side of restaurant. Food is good and we have the Economica menu, 4 courses including small jug of wine or 1 beer, plus coffee, good price, atm €10 Recommend the Dorada, salad and Chicken Piri Piri.

Do not to pass by before after the castle museum. Thanks to Neuza, we had a great time enjoying our sea food rice pot which serves 5-6 big serving plates. And every time she passed by always funny greeting in 4 languages which others do too in this restaurant. Have l said how delicious it is ? But l forgot to take photos of the fish soup before the rice so l can’t finish the rice but order the home made dessert instead.

Amazing fish, obviously fresh and they brought it for us to see. Good sales patter so we went for it. The fish was fantastic- 5 stars. But the veg tasted like tinned carrots, mushrooms, and potatoes along with brocolli so overcooked it was nearly liquid. The salad was limp lettuce with sliced tomato and onion with grated carrot. 5* fish let down by no star accompanying dishes. We wish we hadn't fallen for the sales pitch.

Não gostei da condescendência do servidor. O prato escolhido foi certamente preparado com bons produtos não muito bem cozinhados para o meu gosto.
