Description

The Bagelry in Colesville, MD, offers a diverse selection of bagels that both locals and visitors appreciate, though they are noted for not fully matching the iconic New York style. The bagels are mostly well-received for their flavor and freshness, with standout cream cheese options. However, occasional issues arise, such as limited inventory by mid-morning and lack of restroom facilities for customers. Service varies, with some instances of unfriendliness reported, though many praise the efficiency and care taken for dietary restrictions. Overall, the Bagelry remains a popular and cherished community spot despite minor drawbacks.

I'm so happy I finally discovered a nearby bagel shop! The maple raisin cream cheese is absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return as soon as my diet permits.

Consistently fresh! Be sure to grab them before they run out. Don't miss the amazing salmon as well!

Very annoyed, love this place, but I wanted bagels for my husband birthday (memorial day) and their website says it's only closed on 3 holidays (not including memorial day). But no, they were closed. They could have at least posted something on google updates! 3 other people walked up right as I was leaving disappointed as well.So frustrating.

Bagels are good but if you don’t get there by noon on a weekend you can assume that the selection will either not be good or they might close early because they ran out of bagels. Go early AND order ahead and also don’t expect the people who work there to be friendly after you’ve driven there and find they are out of bagels. We had the door slammed in our face and locked when we said we hadn’t ordered ahead.

The bagels were fantastic with a wide variety of unique flavors, and I particularly enjoyed the salami as a meat option. However, they were a bit on the small side, and the lox cream cheese could have used more lox. The biggest downside to my experience was the lack of a restroom for customers. It seems quite insufficient to have standing tables without providing a bathroom for patrons, especially when the staff bathroom is the only available option. This definitely affected my overall experience.
