One of the baristas noticed my mi... read more I visited the restaurant on 5/27/2020 with my partner. We were there by chance, as I used to live in Calverton from 1964-1983. One of the baristas noticed my military-themed shirt and asked if I was in the military. I explained that it was actually my partner who had recently returned from Iraq and was in the car recovering from a surgical procedure at Walter Reed this morning. The staff showed their appreciation for his service by bringing his coffee to the car and thanking him. We were both touched by their kindness, friendliness, and enthusiasm. They made our experience truly amazing and the coffee was perfect. xoxoxo!
