Was PegC at Meleket Ethiopian a mag?
Got the veggie combo with injera bread, and sambusas with chicken stuffing for an appetizer. Enjoyed it all, esp. the sambusas. Celebrated my daughter's birthday, and they provided a generous piece of cake with a candle on top, and 3 staffers sang happy birthday to her. At 2 pm on a weekday, we were almost the only customers. Parking: Free parking is limited. Across the street is a metered lot. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and fairly priced. I brought a friend who had never tried Ethiopian cuisine before, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner—it's also a great spot for a date night. I highly recommend trying the beef tibs. The only downside is that parking in the small lot can be tricky, so I usually visit during off-peak hours.
We loved the food and found the drink prices to be very reasonable, which will definitely bring us back! Our server was an absolute joy. Cost per person: $20–30.
