They catered my birthday party in January with absolutely fantastic Dominican cuisine. As a vegetarian/vegan group, we particularly enjoyed the variety of vegetables, beans, and rice. I really enjoy the classic dishes like rice, beans, and various proteins, but the honey mustard sauce is just awful. As a Dominican, I'm used to the traditional mayo and ketchup combo, so I wish they offered customers a choice between the two sauces. I feel that honey mustard appeals to a specific palate, and I didn't appreciate it in my Chimi; it turned this otherwise savory sandwich into something resembling a dess... View all feedback.
Hector Giovanni runs this incredible food truck that feels like it’s from heaven. I can’t remember the name of the dish, but it was dirty rice with beans and chicken. The flavors were absolutely amazing! Hector mentioned that his wife does the cooking, and she must be a wonderful person as well! You should definitely give this place a try; you won’t regret it!
My family and I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night, and all I can say is wow—absolutely amazing and delicious! I ordered the chicken stew with rice, beans, and plantains. Although they forgot the beans, it was totally fine because the flavors were perfect. My husband had the ribs with rice, beans, and plantains, and thankfully, his meal included the beans so I got to try them. I can't wait to go back and explore more dishes. I did take a photo, but it was after we finished!
The combo plate included the Dominican specialty stewed chicken, rice, beans, and plantains, and the portion was more than enough. The stewed chicken was moist and tender, while the rice and beans were tasty! I devoured the whole meal. The plantains were made fresh in the back, and they were excellent. Absolutely excellent. What are you waiting for? Treat yourself!
You guys are amazing! What a pleasure it was to stop here. The service is unmatched. Thank you, my friend, for the great service and the fantastic lunch. I'll see you all again soon!
