Since she’s been gone you can tell a difference because her being Caucasian she attended everyone no matter what race you were. Now the Ethiopian women that run the place only look out for their own Ethiopian men. Any other race they are either rude or service their people first before they serve anyone else. This place is a place for all not just one race and that’s why I say don’t ever come here. On top of the owner mistreats his co workers especially the ones that don’t speak much English. He is not professional due to him speaking down to his employees in front of customers and that’s just not right. To my Hispanic community I suggest you don’t ever come here because either you’re going to take advantage of or ignored if you aren’t Ethiopian. Not acceptable especially for a common customer. I got 2 meals, and it almost came out to $20. It's definitely a hidden gem. Keep it up! Two breakfast entrees were $6ish each.... read more This was the cheapest diner breakfast I've had in the DC area...ever. Reminded me of the diners back home in Upstate NY. Two breakfast entrees were $6ish each. The coffee was weak but not bitter. The pancakes were underwhelming, the sausage wassurprisingly awesome. The eggs were...eggs. If you're looking for a cheap breakfast, maybe go here!

Owner and locals very friendly, sit at the counter and engage in conversation or grab a table and watch TV. I'll be back. Think Normfrom Cheers if you're that old. Update After coming here every day since I found the place I am forced to modify my review.Less than half of the menu items are available and they are in desperate need of a new cook. The Cook comes and goes as hepleases whether orders are waiting or not. Sometimes he wears gloves when he prepares your food most times not. I stand by thefriendly atmosphere but anything more than a basic sandwich and fries maybe problematic. So unfortunate.
