I started with the gumbo, while my husband enjoyed the lobster bisque—both were fantastic and perfect for a chilly, rainy evening. For our main courses, I had the homemade potato gnocchi paired with braised short rib, and my husband chose the allspice Moulard duck breast. Both dishes were exceptional! We finished with the chocolate bread pudding drizzled with homemade caramel sauce. As a bread pudding fan, I loved it, and I’m already looking forward to trying their crème brûlée next time—it sounded amazing! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation the next time you plan a dinner out. Great menu, excellent cocktails and wine selection, and wonderful staff. Highly recommended! We ord... read more After enjoying a fun pottery-painting session at Tru 2 Hue, my friends and I were hungry and decided to try District Bistro based on some online reviews. We ordered several appetizers and an entrée to share, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were clearly top-quality, and the dishes were thoughtfully prepared. The food was also beautifully presented—I only wish I had taken pictures! Although we had wine while painting pottery and didn’t order drinks this time, we’ll definitely get some next visit. Our server was very friendly, and we had a great conversation about our favorite TV shows and her hometown in Hawaii. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly encourage everyone to support this local gem. We can’t wait to return!
