The food was amazing—especially the French toast and shrimp and grits—and the atmosphere was fantastic. The DJ, karaoke host, and our server Noah all went above and beyond to make the experience special. I highly recommend the Karaoke Sunday Brunch for any celebration. Honestly, this place could use some ser... read more Three of us visited C&C on a Saturday night, and surprisingly, it wasn’t very busy considering it was a holiday weekend. Honestly, this place could use some serious improvements. When we walked in, the music was way too loud, making it hard to have a conversation—this is a restaurant, not a nightclub! Our drinks and appetizers arrived quickly, but it took the server another 20-25 minutes to take our dinner order. On the bright side, the food was outstanding and definitely exceeded our expectations. The curry chicken and rice had great flavor, and the oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had. So, the food quality matches the price. Unfortunately, the positives pretty much end there. When the server brought our check, we had to remind them that we wanted separate bills, and no dessert was ever offered—even though good service usually includes at least offering. To make matters worse, a mandatory gratuity was added to each of our checks along with an unexplained “hookah charge,” which the staff just dismissed as a computer error. Despite the excellent menu, the poor service means we won’t be returning. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 1/5 Recommended dishes: Fresh Oysters
