Silver Lake Cafe

My wife and I stopped in while driving through central oregon. Friday mid day for lunch. It was adorable and the food was fantastic. Much better quality of food than we expected. If you’re traveling through and want some grub, I highly recommend you give this a try. Explore the whole place and give a read through the materials on the book shelf at the end of the diner/cafe. Be sure to poke your head into the bar side of the building for a throwback in time. Highly rated. This isn’t the place to be in a hurry so if you’re looking for a quick burger and soft drink, these aren’t the droids you’re looking for. Give yourself at least 30 minutes. Worth it.Service was great and VERY FRIENDLY. Loved it.

Stopped here this morning. What a great choice. Was like walking into my neighbors kitchen. Both the ladies were so friendly and inviting. I had the corned beef, eggs, hash browns and to die for Rye toast. I think she grilled the toast. Delicious. The hash was perfectly fried crisp. I asked for.over perfect egg and that's exactly what I got!My husband had the French toast and a side of corned beef. He raved about the French toast so I had to try it. He wasn't kidding. If we lived closer we may have our own booth.Thanks ladies, for such a memorable visit and meal.

We stopped in late this morning, Feb 18th for a good ole breakfast and this is exactly what we got. Bang for the buck the hashbrowns eggs and (I had a sausage patty) were excellent! My girlfriend had eggs n French toast. All super excellent and plentiful! Service and atmosphere is great too! You need to stop here on your way thru Silver Lake

Best meal we’ve had in quite a while. The mushroom soup had morels (unreal! and the French dip was a roast that practically melts in your mouth. Would recommend 100%.We will be back!

Incredibly friendly. We just stopped in to grab coffee to go but the waitress was very nice and and food looked delicious.
