Mulets still does the best Pizza Valtellinese (see my previous review). The cook has added Speckpizokel «Silvaplana» to the menu; another highlight! You can download the recipe from their website and try at home. We can still warmly recommend and we will return at our next visit to the Engadin! View all feedback.
What Timoteo Sorrentino doesn't like about Ristorante Mulets:
Positive: The setting is very pretty. The waitresses were friendly and spoke good English. Mulets is always on our list as a must-go place when we are in the Engadine. It is close to the camping site and centra da sport, which you can notice in the clientele, because you will find here a bit younger crowd and it seemed to me, also local crowd. Prices are affordable, decor is contemporary, service is friendly and attitudes are kind. There is a lot on the menu, but my favourite still is the Bündner Gerstensuppe, which is a traditional Swiss barley soup. They serve the best in the Engadine Valley. Have it on the terrace and enjoy the mountains and sun.
I was there alone and was seated at the bar. i had the caprese salad and the gipsy pizza - really good, i enjoyed much. the service is impecable and i felt very welome.

In wintertime, we most of the time order Pizza & Burgers for the Kids, I order my favorite (see title) and my wife orders wraps or soup. We've never been disappointed. Even when we ski on the Corvatsch nearby, it's worth to take the short trip to the Restaurant Mulets to enjoy much better food & choice than on the ski slopes at a decent Price for the Sankt Moritz area. Usually Service staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the boss walks the extra mile for his customers & friends.
We ate here three times during our stay in Engadin. The food was good - not exellent, but more than ok. The service nice, the price reasonable given the area. They also have nice wine- both red and white - in glasses as well as bottles. The third night I chose the pasta with scampi. It turned out to be a very bad choice. I got very ill a few hours later. As an MD, I recognized my symptoms as severe food poisoning. It ruined the last days of our vacation, and it took a while to recover. I suspect the scampi, as they were a bit "mushy", but it can also be just bad hygiene. Either way, it makes it hard to recommend this restaurant, although it is a nice place based on the two first visits.
