Many restaurants in Silkeborg are full also on a weekday but Michael D is almost always nearly empty and there is a reason for that. Ever since the restaurant opened they have been struggling to make food that has any taste what so ever, and the locals know that so they stay away. Tilsyneladende et fint sted med et begrænset antal retter på menuen. At man så ikke kan få de retter der trods alt er på menuen trækker ned. Man er kommet ind, har lagt sit overtøj, man har sat sig ved bordet, og så viser det sig, at man enten kan få det køkkenet bestemmer, eller også kan man gå igen. Vi blev og vi fik de tre retter som det var muligt at få. Forretten med stenbiderrogn var så lille, at man næsten skulle lede efter den på tallerkenen, hovedretten var en småkedelig oksemørbrad, og desserten noget is og rødbede. Det er altid trist, når man forlader en restaurant småsulten, og med en tanke om, at det kunne jeg selv have lavet væsentligt bedre
