The Green Place - Sileby

We booked the Vegan and Gluten Free afternoon tea which was delightful. The staff are so friendly and helpful it is a really unique place.

A wonderful, small café with gardens and lawns, with homemade dishes and excellent drinks. Since vegetarian, there is now a wide range of vegan meals and cakes. There are seating inside and outside, with a good amount of covered seating in the gardens. It is a busy place with regular outdoor events, including music evenings, film nights and a variety of workshops. Also a Fair Trade Shop. Dogs welcome. A true oasis in a lively village.

I have visited the Green Place a few times and they are always friendly, friendly and attentive. The available foods and drinks are delightful, although there is no regular menu (it was not the same, twice that I was), there is always something beautiful. We had booked a nice meeting with the 'sunnyside' pod for lunch, drinks and cakes. The weather was not the best, but the pod was enough to keep 6 of us cozy enough (with coats). The ordering system works well and the food is always nice. The team spends time for vegan and veggie customers are aware of the options and all are clearly marked on the menus. Anyone who works there or voluntarily is friendly and helpful.
