During our tour, we dined at this restaurant. I started with salmon as my appetizer and also had it as my main course. As salmon is my favorite dish, I was delighted with my meal! The restaurant was lovely and the food was exceptional.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is incredible. The prices are reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
We really needed to get in our of the Baltic conditions outside and use the bathroom,so all we had was coffee and orange juice. Facilities were delightful. Coffee was good. Cakes looked good but expensive. Lovely salad display for lunch but we didn't try as we were not hungry enough. Lovely location and very romantic old building.
Regarding prices, the truth is that for a quality restaurant in Helsinki, they are not excessive, although it is not cheap either. One of the times I was there, I had the grilled chicken with goat cheese, balsamic oil, seasonal vegetables, and tomato sauce, and more than a dish, it looked like a work of art, I didn't know where to start to not disassemble everything. This dish, for example, was 20 euros. Along with everything this place offers, it also has a curious self-service area. This is a restaurant with a lot of history behind it (founded in 1867) that is worth a meal or dinner. Or, at least, a coffee on its terrace, but it must be visited, as it is practically attached to the main attractions offered by the Finnish capital.
