What User doesn't like about Groen:
2 stars because of the good service. no higher because most dishes were the taste of burned crimps or flowers ek, and almost all dishes were so oily from drenched house made pesto alike paste. the cost for the addition of the meal makes it even more crazy. I give him another 2 for the Arty page and I'm different, but different is not better or even good, in this case quite bad. I personally left half the tiny dishes uneaten, although many in the floor were like 2 spoons in size. not recommended.
We were three people. We ordered two normal summer menus and out of curiosity one vegan menu. So everyone had the opportunityto taste both menus. They were both great. In vegan menu for some portions tastes were even fresher than in the summer menu. All in all whichever menu you end up ordering it will be great. Wine pairings were good, too. One pairing was with special beer…not so suuccesfull to my taste. I would ask to replace the beer by wine.
The restaurant served small portions of 13 dishes which were nothing special and not enough to fully taste. The wine cooler was located in the restroom, which was quite unusual.
We tried both the regular tasting menu and the Vegan tasting menu, and they were both fantastic! The dishes were carefully prepared and tasty, and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere that made it enjoyable to spend a few hours there. Special thanks to the excellent sommelier who recommended some wonderful wines.
This restaurant offers one of the best gourmet experiences in the city. The service is superb and the kitchen creates innovative dishes using local seasonal ingredients.
Very very veeeery good. Restaurant was cozy, staff was great and knowledgeable and the food was really good. Would recommend for sure even though it’s a expensive restaurant. But we’ll worth the price.
