We didn't know what to expect since this restaurant has changed names. We were very happy with our meals. The ribs were very tender, and I loved the fact that they offered brussel sprouts as a side. My husband had the crab cakes which were real crab and no fillers. My coleslaw had a little blue cheese added to it, which I really liked. Our server Sheila was very friendly as well as very attentive. We will be back soo... View all feedback.
What Kelsi Hodkiewicz doesn't like about Aarons Fishcamp:
The only item we enjoyed were the brussel sprouts. Very disappointed. All the booth seats were torn. Forks prongs were bent out of shape. By looking at their menu online I assumed it would be nice. View all feedback.
Aaron's Fishcamp was recommended to my husband and me, but we were so disappointed! I had made a reservation, and we were excited when we arrived, because the outside seating area had a great atmosphere and music. But the hostess walked us through that area, and seated us in their inside space. We were all alone there for about a half hour. She explained that I should have asked for outside seating, but since I am from another state, I didn't know that I had to do that. She insisted that there was not a place anywhere for us outside. Beyond that, my husband's draft beer was flat, and the smoked brisket he ordered was a huge pile of tough, inedible meat. He sent it back to the kitchen. We had looked forward to an enjoyable evening at Aaron's Fishcamp, but spent less than an hour there. Our waitress was accommodating, but the seating, food and beer made our dinner a bust!
From the appetizers to dessert and all the drinks in between. The service was exemplary. I can’t say enough good things. It was a great choice for our Valentine's Day. Thanks
Our server Erin wonderful, friendly, kind and helpful, problem was the food was below average and very expensive for the quality of food,we will never go back
Dined here last Sunday evening for the first time since the changeover from a BBQ place to a seafood venue. Although I personally enjoyed the former set up I must say that they have done a good job with the food here. The friendly and efficient serving person steered us to the fresh grouper which had just come in that morning. The fish, which I had blackened, was perfectly prepared and very fresh. My wife had the grouper tacos which were also very good. The cole slaw and cauliflower sides were also well prepared. the service was timely and the food served hot. Highly recommend this place.
We ate here in Christmas night. We were looking for a casual meal and it was a good spot. They have some good items in the menu but they try to do too much. Most of our food was good (ex. Po Boy sandwich) but we had to send the seafood chowder back as it didn't resemble any known form of chowder. Keep it simpler and it would be more consistently better.
