This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Sierra Vista. The dining experience was fantastic, and the staff was wonderful. I had the New York strip, which was cooked to perfection. View all feedback.
What chris libbey doesn't like about The Outside Inn:
They gave us some menu that had about 40 or 50 ingredients in dishes scribbled out. Even when they removed the meat they didn't change the price. There were only two other tables there and it took about 15 minutes to get a drink and another 30 minutes to get our order. My food tasted absolutely weird. My husband's steak was really tough. And the prices were the price of a four-star restaurant. Skip this place Food: 1 View all feedback.

**Ambiance:** The restaurant is housed in a charming home just off the highway, complete with private parking. The interior creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. **Service:** A huge thumbs up for the service! Our waitress, Victoria, was outstanding—very attentive and provided great recommendations. The Chef even came to our table several times to ensure our orders were correct and that everyone was satisfied. It’s rare to experience such excellent service. **Drinks:** The full bar offers a wide selection of cocktails, hard liquor, beer, and wine. **Food:** There’s a delightful range of appetizers, and we particularly enjoyed the trout. Many at our table ordered the clam chowder, which was fantastic. The Chef checked in to see if a mix of lobster and clams would be acceptable, ensuring everyone had enough soup—a nice touch! We also tried the crusted lamb, shrimp-stuffed crab, beef medallion, and short ribs, and each dish was met with praise. **Dessert:** For dessert, we sampled the crème brûlée and chocolate cake. Victoria brought out a display tray for us to choose from, which was a lovely addition to the experience. **Pricing:** While it’s not overly expensive for fine dining, it’s also not in the moderate range. **Will I return?** Definitely!
The steaks are cooked to perfection! The chocolate ganache cake is amazing, and there's live music on Thursdays! Don't miss the Tomato Pesto Crostini. The service was outstanding. I'm definitely returning!
I requested peanut butter for my English muffin, only to find out they don’t carry it. I then asked for ketchup for my home fries, and they were out of that too. Lastly, I asked for butter for my muffin, which I suspect came straight from the freezer since it was rock hard. After waiting yet another 15 minutes, we spoke with the general manager. Initially, they offered us a 20% discount, but we argued that our meals should be comped entirely at this point. Ultimately, they settled on a 50% discount, claiming it was to "cover their costs." Had they comped our meal, we would have considered giving them another chance, but now we have no intention of returning, and we made that clear to the manager. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for breakfast in Sierra Vista. I typically don’t write reviews, but I wanted to warn others about my experience. Avoid this place at all costs!
