La Taverna Del Capitano - SIENA

The food and wine were excellent. The charismatic waiter who tried to make our experience perfect deserves even more praise. During our two days stay in Siena we came here twice for lunch. Everything was 10/10.

I first came over this place during my first visit to Siena four years ago. At least I knew that this would be a key base in the city, as I was baptized to the Nobile Contrada dell’Aquila in 2018. Signore Moro, Gianluca, Niccolò and Roberto are some of the best men you will ever meet, and their food reflects their many years of expertise. Their butter-sage ravioli and their Rigatoni Carbonara are stellar, and after having the pleasure of bringing my partner this year, I can confirm that their roasted calves are the best you can get. Everything at I 3 Mori is done with intention and purpose, reflecting a devotion to genuine Tuscan cuisine. I am proud to be part of this city and my counterpart and recommend La Taverna Capitano without hesitation. Grazie per tutto, ragazzi...ci vediamo prestissimo!!

This is the best restaurant in Siena. They have wonderful and delicious homemade pasta, accompanied by several wines from the Tuskany region. Don't hesitate to ask the cook to surprise you.... And Oh, my God... I wish I had more starts to give this candiding placat. Ps: Some of the employees (06/2021) must not be experienced. But they will make sure you still love your food and enjoy your meal.

The food was simply amazing. Beautiful decoration and venue, really feels like an old tavern. Staff was super friendly despite what some comments are saying. I had the pasta with Tuscan ragú and the stuffed rabbit. Everything was super tasty and the house wine was also excellent.

Delicious food, everything we had was tasty and well cooked. House wine was excellent and great value. Service great too!
