I went to this restaurant for dinner with my family and we ordered chicken leg biryani and veg biryani. The flavors were absolutely delicious and made me feel like I was back in India. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Cambodia, this is the place to go. The owner is Indian, the portion sizes are generous, and the service is excellent. A must-visit for sure! What User doesn't like about The Indian:
While visually appealing, dinner was disappointing. Dishes were near flavorless, despite heaping additions of table side spicy condiments (but they look nice, right? . Naan reminded me of Passover matzo crispy and dry. Lassi was thin, blended with ice (I heard a blender grinding away in kitchen before it came out . Cleanliness of restaurant OK; A/C sort of worked. Not an inexpensive meal. You can safely pass up this... View all feedback.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. They serve the best cansai in Siem Reap!
I am a big fan of Indian cuisine and The Indian is one of my top choices for Indian restaurants in the city. I often order takeout from here to enjoy at home. The Dopiaza and Vindaloo dishes are both delicious. My wife prefers a milder dish like the corma, and they always get the spice level just right for us. The service is excellent, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. I will continue to be a loyal customer of this restaurant as long as I live in Siem Reap or until they close. The prices are also very reasonable.
Location: Direction city center and use pub street as landmarks to reach here. Service: We found the staff friendly, although overheard couples of them are fun making the guests in their dialect. Quality of food: We ordered Nordic dishes together with bread and chai. And it's up to the sign. Price: Light on top.
Good masala dosa but served only with 1 coconut chutney an sambar. I am used to 3 kinds of chutney.
