We had a large group of people come in together. Like eight people. Anyway my brother in law said he didn't get full, my mom said hers was really good, she got the fried burrito. Myself and my daughter got the steak fajitas. Some of the meat was hard, there wasn't very much meat. The rice had a strange taste. Other then that the service and appearance was beautiful. What T6831RBgailp doesn't like about Chelitos Mexican:
I'll start with a positive, the service wS good. Our serve fro Chile was great. The food was awful. There is no spice what so ever. The food was cold, like it came out of the refrigerator. I couldn't even eat it. Disgusting. I'll end with a positive. Nice rooftop patio. If you make the mistake to eat here at least rake the elevator up. It certainly not worth the climb View all feedback.
Our group ordered the nachos, fish tacos, burritos, and cheese enchiladas all entrees were delicious the chile, both red and green, excellent. Don't forget to try the margaritas!
Great experience and ambience, with delicious food (try the fajitas! and wonderful service. Definitely recommend!
Must be under new management. Been a year or two since we last ate here. Asked for burrito smothered in queso blanco, I got yellow American cheese melted with ground up cilantro. Ordered civeche and got cocktail camarones then complained and they said no I got civeche bc cocktail is in a cup….so they just spill it out on a plate and change the name. The French fries were cold and hard and the chicken nuggets were cold and over cooked as well. Unbelievable
This nice restaurant is rooftop eating in Estes park. I ordered the picadillo beef nachos. They are quite good with fresh guacamole and nice cheddar cheese. I learned that picadillo means minced in Spanish. That ultimately translates to ground beef in dim cases like here.
It's trying to appear Hispanic, but is it?The food lacks flavor and salt. Mostly bland.I ordered Carne Asada, but the steak came whole. The beans didn't have much flavor, or the price. For food that lacks flavor, the prices are significantly high, especially considering the location isn't as good as other places. It's on the third floor of a building, hidden away.
