We stopped in for lunch and Pasquale, the owner, was absolutely amazing. Although he spoke very little English, he was one of the most affable people we have met in Italy. In slow Italian he told us what they had to offer. My wife got lasagna which she describes as melt in your mouth. I got the pici con caccio e pepe. The pasta was perfectly cooked (this is Italty, afterall) and the sauce was creamy and tasty. I also had a glass of wine (okay, make that two) made locally, which added a special enhancement to the meal. After we ate, Pasquale showed me a space next door where he hoped to add more tables. He made me feel like we were best buddies. He also used my wife 's cell phone to take pictures of the the many interesting quotes on the walls. We then took turns taking pictures of each other to commemorate the experience. It is one of the reasons I love visiting this country. The people make you feel like family! It was one of my favorite experiences on this trip to Italy. In summary, A Tutta Birra is more than a meal, it is an experience.
