What Dmytro R doesn't like about Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen:
Would not recommend this place AT ALL! The dishes that they cook here are not as they should be. Please, do not think that the Ukrainian cuisine is this way in quality and in quantity as well. The portions are small and overpriced. The choice of dishes is too limited. I took my local relatives here, thinking that they will be able to try really Ukrainian food and be met with the Ukrainian hospitality. The result was... View all feedback.
Great food, polite service staff, and pleasant atmosphere. Brunch is excellent. Then bring the family for a great dinner!

I loved the atmosphere here! The decor and the restaurant itself is very homey. The food was delicious exactly like home! We tried potato pancakes, vareniki, chebureki and borsch, everything tasted fresh and it was made with love. We also got a few cocktails and they were exquisite, easy to drink but also strong. Dmytro was our waiter and he took great care of us and answered any questions we had. He is excellent at his job!! I would definitely recommend Tryzub to anyone who wants to try Ukrai … – show
Great, authentic Ukrainian fare, surrounded by artifacts of the Ukrainian history and culture, and spoken Ukrainian language. I recommend it. A little pricey, fills up fast (make a reservation), and parking may be a hassle during the busy parts of the day, but worth it.
Been a favorite for years! Always bring out of towners here for a taste of what makes Chicago special (you know, if they have had enough of pizza, sausages and grease). Visitors from California get plenty of Mexican food at home, but they can't get this. The food is excellent and the authenticity is beyond question. Bonus: display in the bathroom features Putin's face on a roll of TP (been there for years).
