Like it! Definitely a local-jazz experience, not for everyone. Service is friendly in general terms, but not expect guided tours (like many tourists in the reviews). Great main and support performers. View all feedback.
What Ryan F doesn't like about The Green Mill:
VERY hostile staff. Would never come back. We walked into the Green Mill at 1:45 for a 2:00 variety show. Upon trying to find seating we were immediately talked to with an attitude by the owner. Right off the bat she was very unkind and talking to us like we were children. The green mill is an absolute dream of a live music time warp where cash is king, the dance floor is for dancing and not standing, and where memories are made. Don't sleep on this gem, it's worth the trek from whereever you are.
A 12 piece swing band every Thursday. Cool early 20th Century decor. Mediocre mixed drinks.
Don't order a mojito. Lol it's on the website, they are nice about it.
