Most times when i get turkey sandwiches (and burgers) they are usually dry so i avoid them. But The B Franklin is an exceptional turkey sandwich and perfectly balanced. The roasted turkey is moist and smokey complimented with the acidity of the pickled peppers and red onions. The avacado and aoli adds this creaminess and the sprouts add a nice textural crunch. What Toad S doesn't like about Tempesta Market:
The Dante sandwich is $16 and after taxes it comes to $18.84 to go. It's quite expensive for a smallish sandwich. I would have given two stars but it was quite delicious. An unwashed pear with price code stickers on it isn't all that great either when paying premium prices. I wish the pricing was realistic as I work close by but I will not be returning. 5 stars for the food quality. I've been eating here for years and have enjoyed every sandwich. I don't mind paying a premium for a premium product which Tempesta offers. This restaurant now chargers a 4% credit card fee along with a delivery fee when ordering in person for takeout. The fees aren't disclosed and it's a deceptive practice that shouldn't be legal.
Good sandwich fillings, bread's way too hard though
The Caprese sandwich with prosciutto was worth every penny. I’m delighted to have found a new favorite sandwich spot, and will be coming back until I’ve tried everything on the menu.
