Was Kevin P at Pueblo a mag?
I had dinner at Pueblo last night (or rather, I should say I tried to) with a group of nine before a show at the Chicago Theater that started at 7:30. We arrived at 5:45, and a few of us chose items from the prix fixe menu, which included chips and salsa, an appetizer, an entrée, dessert, and two drinks. The alcoholic drinks arrived in a timely manner after our server finally took our order, but those who ordered Spr... View all feedback.
What da m dislikes about Pueblo:
The venue is nice, but I had some issues with the food. The meat was tough, and the rice and beans were only warm instead of hot, which took away from the flavor. We also received just four tortillas for three adults, which seemed inadequate. The bill came to $140 for four adults, and I don't intend to return. They really need to improve their standards, and it's not surprising that we were the only customers there. View all feedback.

Did I mention we were part of a relatively small crowd?

Ordered the enchiladas, sopas and tacos. Also had the habiscus margarita. All very delicious and not too expensive for the area, also had a great server with a positive attitude. Would definitely recommend to all who haven't tried it yet!
Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Food was all tasty, slightly above average sit-down Mexican, but not amazing. For my taste, not enough spice I asked for some hot salsa on the side and they brought Tabasco. Carne Asada was well prepared with nice char but plently juicy in the middle on the rare side of medium rare, the way I like it, though a tad under salted. Guacamole was excellent, the Ensalada Pueblo was good but underwhelming. Service was very good.
