I had family in from outta for the holidays, and after two weeks of cooking and doing the Chicago typical outings, I wanted to show my family a hidden gem so we came to Mesa Urbana. Service was good but the food wasn’t. For the absolutely ABSURD price (no joke they should be ashamed) they charge, I was expecting MUCH better. Also, it’s so loud in there, you can barely hear the waiters or the party you arrived with. View all feedback.
I ordered ribeye steak it’s not worth the price which is $65. I told them medium well it was way too burned. Worst experience ever
Service and recommendations were great! We had the queso fundido (it was amazing and filled with shrimp), chips salsa, skate wing and steak. All food and cocktails were excellent — this place is truly a hidden gem!
Excellent place. Great food. Tasty cocktails. Fortunately I wasn't driving so got to experience many. Paying the price this morning, but worth it. The co owner Ash made our group of 6 feel welcome. The bartender Edgar and his lovely partner in mixology were great too. Will be back.
This place is a hidden gem! Amazing, food, drinks and service! I cannot wait to frequent in the summer! Try a mezcal old fashioned for something different.
