What Lindsey dislikes about Khmai:
Visited from Dallas. They charge $20 to book a reservation, which I guess is okay; if not for the following. They were out of curry, egg rolls, short ribs etc. My daughter and I ordered 1 plate and it was good, however all the sides were cold. I guess go early. View all feedback.

The food and service was amazing!!! I really enjoyed my first time having Cambodian food. If I’m back in Chicago, I will go! Very similar to Thai with a twist. But also very upscale.
Blown away by the flavors and quality of ingredients. Our server Amanda was excellent. What a wonderful ambassador for Cambodian culture in Chicago’s powerful food scene. I hope this restaurant thrives for many, many years to come
Incredible food staff! Flavors brought me back to Cambodia. Highly recommend for those who appreciate different flavors and authentic cuisine!
Khmai was absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We were warmly greeted and well taken care of by our servers—Amanda, who gave fantastic food recommendations, and Stephanie, who suggested great drinks. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was incredibly cool. I could’ve stayed all night! It was such a wonderful experience and a perfect introduction to Cambodian cuisine. Our neighborhood is so lucky to have Khmai—wishing you much continued success!
