Just bought your round rye bread from Celinas in Lemont. Cant stop eating it. Great flavor, great crust and a very heavy rye with lots of whole grain rye. So much like wonderful European breads we used to get at our favorite Polish restaurants. View all feedback.

Excellent Polish bakery near the Jefferson Park L stop. The Grandma's bread which is a sour dough rye is outstanding. They also make a whole grain rye bread which is also delicious. We would take a 30 minutes ride on the L just to get the bread. Recently we bought perogies with mushrooms and sourkraut and they were very delicious.
New info after my personal visit. We had a little confusion with my order but I think everything came out better than I expected. The Japanese poppy seed cake is absolutely phenomenal, moist, fresh, delicious. I just wanted to say thank you to Master Pastry chef MR Jacek. They don't know what they even selling. The girl told me it's butter creme chocolate cake with no filling. In fact it was white cake with raspberry filling and whipping cream. This is ridiculous what if someone allergic? Please learn what's on your store display.
