Hayden Hall - Chicago
Hayden Hall
Menu
The restaurant from Chicago offers 172 different dishes and drinks on the menu for an average price of $6.5.
Nestled in the Loop, Hayden Hall offers a vibrant dining experience characterized by friendly service, enticing $2 martinis during lunch, and standout dishes like Brussels sprouts and gnocchi. However, a few teething problems remain, including inconsistent service and a noisy atmosphere that hampers conversation. Patrons enjoy the restaurant's lively bar scene, but reservations can lead to confusion, as evidenced by dining parties being separated. Despite minor issues, the flavorful cuisine and inviting ambiance promise a lively, if occasionally chaotic, outing that many will likely embrace with enthusiasm on their next visit.

There's a fantastic new addition in the Loop! They offer $2 martinis during lunch, and their Brussels sprouts and cauliflower dishes are excellent. The service is friendly, and the banquet seating is a nice touch. Wishing them all the best—I will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What Jean Steuber dislikes about Hayden Hall:
Good overall. Has some new restaurant issues like an uninspired salad, no olives at the bar and other small issues. Still gave it a 4. As most food was very good. View all feedback.
Large new option in the loop. two-dollar martinis for lunch; really good Brussels sprouts and cauliflower dishes; friendly service; and banquet seat. they wish good and definitiw back.
Thrilled to visit during the first few weeks. Great vibe, fantastic service, delicious food!
Food was delicious. Staff was very hospitable despite us being the last reservation of the day. Gave us complimentary dessert! Would dine again.
Absolutely amazing place to grab a drink and a selection of local food. The bartenders make great craft cocktails and have a beer and wine list with some very unique choices. If you are an adventurous drinker this is the perfect place. If you wantsomething more traditional they have those options too. The atmosphere is also amazing the second floor is level with the L soenjoy the views of the trains as they make their way through the loop.
Great restaurants. Weird setup for ordering, you have to stand and wait for your order as there’s nobody to bring the prepared dishes to your table. They’re “cashless”, which I find annoying. But the food is good. Decolores, County BBQ and othersoffer a variety of dishes to suit most tastes. This isn’t a place that I would go to every day, but it’s a nice place to goevery once in a while.
