Yeah, there are 5,000 fried chicken places around, but Larry Tucker’s Crazy Bird does it best: fat, juicy brined Amish chicken with pristine, minimalist breading, fried perfectly. Love at first bite. Nothing special. Fine for what it is but should be better than KFC. In my opinion it is not.

Hands down, the best fried chicken in Chicago- crispy skin and juicy on the inside! We came here with a group of friends and had such a great meal. The owners are so accommodating and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Other must try's- Buffalo Mac Cheese and the Hummingbird cake!

Yet again, a fantastic meal that reminds us how special it is to have Crazy Bird in the neighborhood! We’ve had big holiday dinner catering here before and it was perfection. Lately it’s been casual “don’t want to cook” nights. Whether it’s a big production or just a whim, the food is always excellent. Lately had the BBQ pulled pork and hot links.
