Coq D’Or is a very fun bar! You can always find entertainment here (not just from the band that plays). Your are transported back in time when you walk inside. The servers are wonderful and friendly! Say Hi to Scott for me! They have some pretty darn good desserts too! Note: When you need to look for the men’s room, it’s just outside the bar in the hotel. View all feedback.
What Aya S doesn't like about Coq D'or:
Horrible service and overpriced menu. We had to go up to the bar after being told multiple times by the waiter he'd be back soon to take our order. We waited at least ten minutes before just ordering at the bar. $18 cocktails for nothing worth that much View all feedback.
Amazing old school atmosphere with classic cocktails. Great place to unwind after work.

It’s a sad day in Chicago, after 30 years of going to the restaurants at the Drake looking forward to the famous Bookbinders soup, they absolutely ruined it. Totally unrecognizable, what a shame, it used to be full of chunks of red snapper I had such a flavorful broth the stuff they serve me was awful. I won’t be back
Friendly service, great location! Great place to meet for coffee or a drink during the day.
Staying at the hotel, decided to end the evening out with a nightcap at Coq D'Or. Big mistake. The piano man they had was very good. The waiters needed to go back to their crypts. I never been scowled at by a bigger group of mummies in my life. Where did you get these guys from a Bela Lugosi look alike contest? Terrible service and drinks were horrible. Take a tip and hire some young women that know how to wait tables and mix drinks. It's not 1931 anymore.
