Was Mimi Herg at Coalfire Pizza a mag?
The service here is phenomenal. Just astoundingly great staff. And the pizza was DELICIOUS. We shared a house salad and a pizza among two people and it was more than enough food for the both of us. I think the best part is there are so many different typesof flavors of pizza that you really want to come back and try out more!! View all feedback.
What Mary K dislikes about Coalfire Pizza:
TL;DR: This was good, but the place was very loud and I have had better pizza elsewhereCoalfire w extremely loud on a Saturday at 5:00 because of large parties and kids birthdays. I am not a huge fan of feeling like another number paying for a meal. The caesar salad was good, but small for the price. the Bacon Jam and Salami and honey are both good pizzas. I think I can name better pizza places (ex: Zaza's pizza) and... View all feedback.
You expect a nice crispy crust but the first picture is what happens. They used to be good, need more attention to detail here. Why is a thin crust coal fired so floppy?
Coalfire on Southport is one of my favorite places in the area. It is great pizza at a solid price point. It is hard to find a place with both great food great atmosphere, but this place fits the bill. I would highly recommend sitting at the bar in front of the pizza ovens. It is fun to watch the kitchen staff work their magic.Food: 5/5

I visited this restaurant and experienced slow service. Later, I found out online that the owner doesn't pay competitive wages and then complains when employees call in sick. I certainly don't want sick employees handling my food. Do you?
