Great coffee with many roast options. They also sell very delicious kombucha and pastries. However if you come with a big company there are not much place to seat. If you are a coffee lover this is surely a place for you. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Arthur E doesn't like about Caffe Umbria:
Friendly staff. Burnt, awful coffee, subpar pastries. Avoid if you’re into coffee. If you’re into sugar and flavored syrups with caffeine, this place is for you. View all feedback.

I'm in town visiting my cousin and decided to give Cafe Umbria a try. I'm so glad I did! Very helpful and friendly staff. I purchased 2 different bags of coffee (she offered to let me try what they had brewed and also ground it to my specifications) and I also got a latte and it was very good. I only spent $33 so that's a steal in my opinion. I will be returning if I make it back to Chicago. If
Coffee was fine and I got a pistachio pastry. But there wasn't much for seating.

I love visiting coffee shops when I visit large cities like Chicago, and Umbria is hands down the best I found. Their cardamom maple latte was heavenly. I returned a second time and tried their pumpkin spice latte, which was great. But my other half ordered a Al Pepe and we haven’t had anything like it. 11/10.
