Beard Belly - side

Beard Belly serves up a legit burger. I started with the Half Pint as a litmus test. Don't let the name fool you, this is a substantial sandwich, the 5 oz. patty eats bigger than advertised. The beef, or beef blend, is well seasoned, lean, and comes off the griddle with a very nice textural crust, which I love. Great food, quiet enough to catch up, honestly just a great option!

I waited and waited to get a slice of the banana pie, it was not good banana chips on top and not much real banana. For the price I expected better. The pecan pie was decent. I will give another try and see what happens

Just… not good. One star food. Got the Boomers and Swiss and it was straight up bad; definitely not worth the exorbitant price I paid for it. I couldn't even finish it. The meat itself was a weird texture (did I get an Impossible by mistake, maybe? and under-seasoned. The garlic mayo had zero flavor and the mushrooms/swiss were bland/plasticky. Good food. Poutine was a little salty. Schnitzel sandwich was ginormous. Waiters don't tell you there's a charge when offering salad as a side or pushing their dipping sauces. But the service was good.
