Wow. Talk about great food an great service. Ann Sather's has made breakfast and art. Makes sense the place had a line out front. Nonetheless, with a party of two we were seated in under 15 mins. The ambiance felt a lot like an old Scandinavian bakery. As you walk in the door, big, mouth watering pastries fill a glass display case, immediately whetting your appetite. This has become a staple in our family for breakfast. The service is always AMAZING, food is great and those cinnamon rolls! Whenever people visit from out of town, this is where we go.

Last stop before leaving Chicago. Cute and cozy spot. Seems like a staple for the locals. Very friendly…greeted by everyone as soon as we walked in. Fresh and made to order. The cinnamon rolls were rich and amazing. I couldn't finish them although they were simply a side item to my order (you get to choose two). The house salsa was tasty. Our waitress was so sweet, kind and attentive.

One of the friendliest damn places you'll ever eat at. Real people, and delicious food.

I really can't say enough nice things about this place. Staff are great, food is phenomenal, and the cinnamon rolls/buns — HOLY F# they are amazing. I wish I could eat every single item on the menu, but alas I didn't have time. I can't recommend this place enough — it does get packed but it is soooo worth the wait.
