This is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago, the prices are very good for the quality of food you're getting. The owner checks to ensure every dish that is sent out is perfection. The quality is unbeatable, this place is truly a hidden gem. I would suggest buying the whole kitchen a round of drinks when you're dining there, the staff would really appreciate it and it makes their day/night that much better! View all feedback.
What Jeanne H doesn't like about Amaru:
Food and drinks were excellent, and the place was full of people younger, cooler and more beautiful than I, and yet it wasn't pretentious at all. Will be returning! View all feedback.
The food we got here was insanely good we couldn't stop talking about it. That coupled with the exceptional service of the staff. Makes this a top-notch spot that I can't wait to bring people back to.
Came with a group of friends for a New Years' reunion and was not disappointed. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Highly recommend getting the chorizo plantains wrapped in bacon. Special shout out to our server, Maritza!
Great food, drinks and vibes! This Latin fusion gives you central and South American flavors with a modern twist. Delicious blends that really make the experience. You must order: Drink — black tea and currant Pisco Food — Ceviche del día — Guatemalan ribs — Pulpo a la plancha Dessert — Guayaba Cheesecake This was the perfect amount of food for 2 people to share! Enjoy!
Tasty tapas style food. Fun to share plates. Quina salad and coconut rice were superb!!
