Just like I remembered it almost a decade ago. A must visit for when you come to Chicago. I'm a big fan of the chicken katsu and curry sauce. The rice is incredibly soft and goes very well with the macaroni salad. I also tried the spam musubi katsu for the first time here and I was not a fan. It did not have a good rice to meat ratio and was very dry. Other than that, I recommend their other meat rice dishes. View all feedback.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Having lived in Hawaii for 9 years, this is as close to Hawaiian style “local grinds” i have come across so far. Get the BBQ beef!

Great spot for Hawaiian food. You won't be disappointed! We love coming here. Finding parking is a little hard but we'll worth it.
Food is extremely fresh and flavorful. I had the curry chicken katsu and tornado fries. Very large portions — I almost always finish all of my food at restaurants, but had enough for 2 meals from this. Menu has a lot of interesting items, will definitely try to come back.
