This was the first time we ate at this restaurant and we enjoyed the experience. It is so obvious that the chef has a distinguished “culinary philosophy” of his own, and we admired it. I particularly liked the eggplants and the pickled fish. This is stuff that you can eat only here. As a bonus all of the dishes are healthy and they go with most diets. The service was fast and the waitstaff very welcoming. Great Place... View all feedback.
What Thomas B doesn't like about Adorn Bar Restaurant:
TL:DR Adorn is searching for its identity, and the current iteration is terrible. My wife and I stayed at the Four Seasons for the weekend and ate at Adorn on Saturday night. The “ambiance” is that of an unused conference space hastily converted into a dining room. The music was intolerable. They had a guest DJ that was blaring 120 BPM techno for the two hours we were there. According to their website, this is a regu... View all feedback.

I read on Thrillist that Adorn “offers sweeping views of the Mag Mile and downtown skyline”. It does not. It basically has no view, just of the neighboring buildings. My sister and I were pretty hungry so we decided to stay even though it didn't really ha … – show

Really wanted to like this restaurant and the food. Every dish looked great, but lacking flavors. Even the signature dish — lobster pasta — was a bit disappointing. The Thai brussel sprouts were delicious. Gnocchi were very average.
I grew up in Cleveland, and had visited Chef Sawyer's restaurant there on a trip home. I also followed the career of such a notable chef from my hometown. Needless to say, I was excited to hear that he was bringing his talents to Chicago, and Saturday night my wife and I visited for an anniversary dinner. First off, the service was exceptional. We have been cautious due to covid, and no restaurant has made us feel as safe as this one. Despite the distance, there was no lack of warmth from the s … – show
