What J K doesn't like about 1959 Kitchen:
Went to the bar before a show. The ambiance was nice, good for a date. There are board games and a decent drink selection. I did not get to try the food due to limited time on my part. What really burned my biscuits was that I ordered a whiskey on the rocks and got charged for the whiskey and a separate charge for rocks. Who charges $2 for ice? My suggestion: don't get ice. Husband and I popped in before a show at Second City- he had a Whiskey sour and I had an Aperol Spritz. Mine was good, standard- his was wonderful. Price point is very fair, and service friendly. Place was mostly empty despite it being almost show hour, but employees still seemed a bit harried.

We Celebrated my Husband bday and Everything was Great!!! Our waitress Courtney was Fabulous!!! 1959 owes US Nothing!
Great service, fabulous burger and the best brussel sprouts I've ever had! This is a hidden gem and I'll be back soon!
