One of the most famous Chinese food in town. Gt to have more patience in waiting the food to be served.
Good things are foods prices are reasonable considering good tastes and amounts, clean tables, chairs, floor and overall environment. Bad things are poor service. Walked in look crowded and asked if any table available and they said yes. They also said I will have to wait for at least 30 min and I don 't mind. Waited for nearly 40 min, I reminded them they said coming soon. Then I saw 2 tables who came late then me got served. Continue waited for another 10min I reminded them again but with my unhappy voice and raised the 30min wait they promised. One of them quietly said booked by phone get priority . If I had knew this earlier I would had not stayed. Felt like been cheated by them for not keeping their promise. Finished my dinner there with frustration. So watch out during peak/crowded for those who walked in without advance booking, unless you don 't mind waiting for an hour.
Was having dinner at the restaurant. The dishes were all overcooked. The veges are overcooked. The bidin fried garlic was not crunchy anymore. The cangkuk manis with eggs were so overcooked you can just swallow it straight down. (I didn’t order for baby food) The egg tofu was also overcooked it was watery inside instead of jelly type texture. And the fried soup noodle is overcooked, I felt disgusted eating it. I felt it’s a waste coz the food actually taste ok. Just overcooked. So I took it to the lady boss at the counter. She was not apologetic at all. Nor was she taking my comments as a way to improve the quality of the food in her restaurant. She said ‘everyone have different taste. I never had any complaints from customers except for me. And just took a plate of bidin away from a dining customer’s table to prove that the bidin was not overcooked. Such arrogant person. If this is the kind of food the other customers can accept, I think it’s a big insult to their customers in Sibu. To anyone who would like to dine here, make sure you voice out if you think the dishes are not up to standard. For me, I just can’t tolerate lousy quality food and a big no no to arrogant restaurant manager. I will never go back again.
More than 5 years did not come to this restaurant. When my wife requested to eat here, I say yes! After dinner, it still no change. Still very delicious.
