Went purely for the Spa and afternoon tea and was not disappointed. The massage was fantastic, the spa facilities clean and comfortable. The afternoon tea was great and the staff very kind and accommodating. Overall a wonderful day. View all feedback.
What Simran C doesn't like about Moor Hall:
Was put in a horrendous room which was absolutely filthy! Gave them a chance and Told the staff I have allergy issues and needed it to be cleaned while we were out… it wasn’t. The pics I have attached are from when we returned (late) to the hotel next morning they moved us into a better room for the next night. As as result I suffered from allergy symptoms the next day. The receptionist told us to write to management... View all feedback.

Booked for an overnight bee keeping experience that was terrific in itself. It was the hotel service that's the problem....Superior room was very nice with nice additions but oh dear, to eat and drink here is beyond rubbish. First the bar, I went up to the bar and it took 5 minutes to get served, no one in attendance. When I did eventually get served, I ordered a glass of prosecco which was mean fully poured into a measuring cup before pouring into a flute. I've actually brought hundreds of glasses of prosecco and cava and I've never seen it measured out before!! Is it any wonder it was warm and flat?? It was sent back. It happened again later at dinner. This was also not right...shown to our table, staff went missing for 5 minutes and then bread rolls were brought to us. Where was the offer of drinks, menus and general guidance of how the carvery works. The food was acceptable however. Breakfast was actually very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe because we turned up on Father's Day and it had been a busy service so the staff had had enough but we won't return now.
Lovely hotel set in a beautiful area. Very smart decor. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food was first class.
Room was tired, dirty and smelly. Shower didn't work so moved to a lower-grade room without any apology (in fact, it was only once in the room that we worked out it was not the same grade as the one booked and paid-for. The walls in the new room were so thin that I could hear someone snoring next door sufficiently loudly to keep me awake. But at least the shower worked. Food (carvery) exceptionally poor. Dry, overcooked main course, laughably awful selection of starters and deserts so pathetic looking that we didn't even bother. Drinks extortionate and I am appalled that Best Western can charge over £20 per head for that slop. At least the waiting staff were helpful and polite. Duty managers (both hotel and restaurant) just didn't (seem to) care. If you are thinking of staying either prepare to lower your standards or, better still, book somewhere (anywhere) else
Excellent hotel to stay at. Room have everything you need. Hotel has great outdoor space to relax in. Good wifi Bars offer good selection of beers and spirits with soft drinks and tea/coffee available to. Close to motorway and sighted well for the midlands connections.
