やまちゃん Shí Táng - 水上村

I set my destination based on reviews and such. I rode my bike from Kagoshima. They were having a donburi fair, so I ordered the roast venison donburi. Personally, I'm not a fan of venison, but since I came all the way here, I decided to give it a try. It was surprisingly tender and very delicious, with no gamey taste at all. I also ordered some oden on the side, and both dishes were delicious. The owner and his wife were both very nice. I will definitely stop by again on my next motorcycle trip!

This restaurant is like a Japanese izakaya, but they serve set meals. Even though we arrived just before closing time, they welcomed us warmly. We ordered the katsudon and oden a la carte. The katsudon had a fluffy and creamy egg, the seasoning was just right, and the cutlet was large and delicious. The oden was soaked in a clear soy-based broth, and we wanted to try the other ingredients as well. The prices were reasonable.

Whenever I come here for work, I occasionally stop by. The dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are generous! The champon is well-stir-fried, giving it a taste of a countryside champon restaurant and it's delicious! The fried chicken set meal is also satisfying, with a hearty portion and the miso soup was made with carp broth!

不定休の為、開店確認の連絡を入れた所、個室をとって待っていてくださいました 今回４回目の来店です 初めて伺った時の定食に付いていた鯉汁の美味しさが忘れられず、近頃は奥球磨どんぶりフェアの度に伺ってます 今年は鹿肉のローストビーフ丼でした 臭みもなく、柔らかく、さっぱりと今回も大満足でした お店の方々の接客も温かく、またぜひ伺いたいです

週末は観光客で賑わってるかんじでした！ 気持ちよい接客、味、文句なしでした！
